I am obsessed with Zoho! I’ve been using their Zoho Invoices for over a year and am so impressed by the functionality – and their customer service is bar none. I would run to this amazingly affordable invoicing software – or any of their other services – as soon as possible! UPDATE: Zoho Payments is now available and works directly within the Zoho Invoices or Zoho Books platforms. I highly recommend them as the payment fees are less – and the convenience is amazing. It works best for online invoicing. The fee for online processing (including keeping a card on file) is 2.79% + .30 for domestic cards, 2.90% + .30 for Amex cards; Intl cards are at 3.79% + .30 + a currency conversion fee. (Compared to Square’s Online fee of 2.9% + .30, or manually entered/card on file fee of 3.5% + .15.) So it makes sense for my credit card customers who are invoiced to be processed through Zoho Payments other than Square.
If you’re working remotely, you need Splashtop! It’s secure, fast, and reliable remote access so you can work from anywhere. Like me when I’m in my treehouse office! The best business tool in my arsenal!
For Calendaring that can sync across platforms, I love Artful Agenda. It’s the closest I’ve found to a paper calendaring system. There are web, Android, and Apple apps, and you can sync all your calendars. I have it on the old iPad on my fridge to act as a family portal. (It’s nice to not have to ask what you’re doing and when all the time!) Please use my referral code! RK524352
