International Virtual Assistants Day Celebration

By now you’ve probably seen, heard, read or otherwise somehow found out that the Online International Virtual Assistant Convention (OIVAC) scheduled for May 14-16 has been postponed and rescheduled to October 1-3, 2009! Although it is necessary to make this adjustment in the OIVAC schedule, we are happy to confirm that the International Virtual Assistant Day (IVAD) Celebration will be held, as originally planned, on May 15, 2009. And at the same scheduled5 pm ED time! This means absolutely nothing is stopping us from recognizing this year’s two stand-out VAs for their contributions to the industry–not even the economy! We’ll be awarding the Janet Jordan Achievement Award and the Thomas Leonard Virtual Assistant of Distinction Award during this live event, which is open to the public. We look forward to having you join us in the celebration. We’ll have tons of FREE giveaways for the attendees, and below are the links to access the online meeting room. Thank You!

I am taking a moment to wish each of you a very happy holiday season. I’m proud to be a part of such an innovative and giving industry. Bless each of you! This year I’ll be taking a few days off during the ‘season’ so check my schedule to find out when I’m available. As we get ready to close out the year, there are a few people I’d like to say something to: Thank you to my clients who have stayed supportive, loyal, and have endeavored to help me make the major transitions this year. Thank you to those who took the time to awaken my spirit, you know who you are. Thank you for the wonderful encouragement I’ve received from Sterling Colorado, you’ve welcomed me with completely open arms and I’m grateful. Thank you to the Logan County Chamber of Commerce for keeping me busy, laughing, and engaged in feelings other than my own. Most of all, thank you to my family: Mom, Dad, Cherie, Daryl, Janet, Dave, Karen and all the kids, you all ROCK I’m forever blessed to have such a cool family, and wonderful support system. Thank you. Be well, and best wishes for a very productive and prosperous New Year. Kathy Ritchie, YOUR virtual assistant]]>
